Here's a company that tried to make a business of remanufacturing 510s and selling them to the public as an economical alternative to a new car. Unfortunately, this was about 1985, the time when the $3995 Yugo and $4995 Hyundai arrived on the market.

The guy who originated this idea sold one car, the one you see in the brochure.
